    We have a pencil vending machine in the library - 2 pencils for 25
    cents. Now what I hear in class when someone has no pencil is
    that he/she also doesn't have 25 cents!!

    Of course this is always after the snack break or lunch where the
    student purchased sodas and ice cream - it's a matter of priorities
    and responsibilities! ;-)
