Yes, I read it after my daughter recommended it to me. It was wonderful and made me realize how lucky I am to have good health.
The whole story is, I think, a series of "flashbacks" whereas the beginning paragraph is supposed to signify the here and now-at least that's what I assumed.
(I might be wrong)

Has anyone else read this book? A friend gave this to me and I thought it was wonderful.
My mom has been begging me to read it. I got it from the library a couple times but had to return it before I ever opened it.
I had a dreary, rainy day at my cottage and read the gift copy, cover to cover, finally! I am glad I did.
I never seem to have the time for leisure reading - I will fix that!
Also, is there a name for the literary device where they turn the beginning paragraph into the ending....and make you think.
