    Hi,
Interesting to see how many of us loved art from a young child. In first
grade, if we finished our work early, we could paint on easels in the back of
the classroom. I worked hard to be able to do this every day.
Then, a wonderful elementary art teacher named Mr. Snell who only had a
closet at the end of the hall for an office and supply room. We had art once
a week in class. I adored art and I adored him. Joined the art club in the
    third grade.
    Kept it up always.
When I graduated from art school, my sister contacted Mr. Snell who called me
after 30 years to congratulate me. He is now an art dealer.
Anyway, shows how important art is in elementary school, doesn't it.
