AFAIK, there are no requirements for homeschool "teachers". I could be
wrong, and it may vary from state to state. Just yesterday I corresponded
w/ a woman in GA who homeschools, to find out why she does. I asked her 3
questions: 1. Why do you homeschool, 2. What is your educational
background, and 3. Do you "farm out" subjects like PE and Art to others.
I know I sound like a total bitch about this, but her reply indicated, shall
we say, a lack in the educational dept. She says both she and her husband
completed HS in the public school system. She also says she doesn't think
that only having a HS education is relevant. I think that's scary.
